Newsletter 23 September 2013

23 September 2013 Term 3 Week 9 13/30

Dear Parents and Caregivers
Kia ora koutou katoa

Congratulations
The children, teachers and teacher aides all deserve a great big congratulations for their efforts last week in the junior performance and at the Polyfest. What great spectacles of our children in dance and drama and music. Fantastic. And made even better given everyone is involved.

Next Term
The term ends on Friday. Next term starts on Monday 14 October and then the term will fly by and before we know it, it will be Christmas. The last term this year is only 9 weeks long so it will be busy as we squeeze in all the end of year events and commitments.

Please remember the ‘no hat-no play rule’ which applies to the first and fourth terms. The school sells branded hats at $13.00. Otherwise a broad brimmed hat or legionnaire style hat must be worn during outside time.

A parent has asked me to ask whether anyone is able and keen to coach a t-ball team over the next term. If so, please see me or Sara.

Best wishes to school families for a restful and safe holiday period.

Kia Kaha tatou Katoa ki te tautoko o tatou tamariki, mokopuna hoki.

John McKenzie
Principal
