Newsletter 2 September 2013

2 September 2013 Term 3 Week 6 13/27

Dear Parents & Caregivers
Kia ora koutou katoa

Good Luck
We are all excited about the upcoming performances - the seniors have Stars on Stage tomorrow night and the Polyfest on September 19th, and the juniors have their performance on September 18th.

These performances come around every two years and are wonderful opportunities for our children to explore dance, drama and music.

Performances like these are also a great chance to explore what it means to be part of a team - sometimes in life we need to learn to work as a small cog in a larger endeavour; like a performance, we sometimes can not see the big picture and must trust that our contribution, albeit small, is necessary to achieve the big picture result.

Such performances are meant to be fun so please encourage your child to relax and enjoy and it is okay if they are not perfect on stage!

Kia Kaha tatou Katoa ki te tautoko o tatou tamariki, mokopuna hoki.
John McKenzie
Principal
