Newsletter 15 November 2011

15 November 2011 Term 4 Week 4

Dear Parents & Caregivers
Kia ora koutou katoa

Updates
Jonathan Rhodes: the kindy re-build is nearly completed. Whilst we have loved having the kindy on site, we will enjoy having the hall available for assemblies and such like.

Art Installation: using a grant from the DCC we have contracted one of our parents, Moira Crossman and two other artists, to develop art to be installed in front of the school hall. This progresses.

No Hat No Play: this policy is being enforced during Term 4. Children must have a suitable hat to wear when outside.

Bring and Buy: thank you to all the children who donated toys and books. We had a wonderful selection for the children to choose from during the sale last Friday. $160 has been raised for the Kids At Heart Foundation.

Kia Kaha tatou katoa ki te tautoko o tatou tamariki, mokopuna hoki.

John McKenzie
