Newsletter 5 April 2011

5 April 2011 Term 1 Week 10 11/7

Dear Parents & Caregivers
Kia ora koutou katoa

There has been a lot of public talk recently about bullying in schools. Bullying is usually typified as constant personal attack to humiliate and hurt another.

Children can be unkind and even cruel to others - sometimes deliberately, sometime unknowingly.

It is our job to be both proactive and reactive about bullying. We do a lot of work maintaining a strong culture of respect at school but we also ensure there are consequences for children who do not show others respect.

To find out more about how we manage behaviour come along to the parent workshop tomorrow afternoon at 5.30pm in the school hall.

Ma te Atua e mannaaki tiaki tatau katoa.
