Newsletter 3 August 2010

3 August 2010 Term 3 Week 3 10/22

Dear Parents & Caregivers
Kia ora koutou katoa

Bus Services for Children
People ask from time to time whether primary children have access to the Ministry of Education subsidised buses. Herewith is the current situation.

Currently a Ministry organised bus travels from Waitati via Mt Cargill Road to the city to transport secondary students.

Primary school children who live beyond Doug Hall’s property on North Road are eligible to board this bus free of charge and be dropped at NEV Normal. These children are classed as ‘eligible’ for the school bus.

Children who do not live beyond this point are able to catch this bus but must pay - it is one section.

Children who bypass their closest local school, regardless of where they live are not eligible for any subsidised or free school bus travel.

Ma te Atua e mannaaki tiaki tatau katoa.
