Dear Parents & Caregivers

Even though there are only a few more sleeps until Santa Claus arrives, there is a lot of work to be done before school finishes.

The older children have been blasting off to space in their space ships and the younger children are preparing for their EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom) day next Tuesday.

The North Dunedin Fiesta at DNI will be held on Friday. If anyone is able to help cook sausages on a BBQ please let the office know.

Reminder
School Donations
There is currently over $1300 in unpaid activity donations. A statement has been sent home with this newsletter if your child’s activity donation has not been paid in full. This money is used to pay the cost of swimming, visits outside the school in support of curriculum learning, visiting performers at the school. It would be appreciated if you could try and contribute something! The school manages its
finances very carefully and yet always ends the year on deficit!

Chest Freezer Free to a Good Home
We have a chest freezer in the College Block kitchen that is no longer required. It is 1400cm long and 600cm wide. Please let the office know if you would like it. There is no cost but we would ask that you organise to remove it.

Talent Quest
On the final day of term Thursday 16 December, a talent quest will be held. It is open to all students, individuals and groups to perform in the areas of dance, drama, comedy, singing, instrument. Please discuss this with your child/ren and think about areas in which they might perform.
